Xiaomi released the current iteration of MIUI to the Redmi Note 8 2022 in February. The update arrived for the global users, and after a couple of weeks, they are bringing it to Europe. According to reports, the Redmi Note 8 2021 stable MIUI 13 update is available for select users.
With the next iteration of already in sight and Google about to start the Android 13 betas next month, it makes sense that Xiaomi finalizes the current rollout to focus on what’s coming. It seems they’ve been doing that with the release of second and third batches of devices to receive the stable MIUI 13 update. Of course, the Redmi Note 8 2022 isn’t part of this list as the device was among the first few Xiaomi phones to receive Android 12 with stable MIUI 13. However, the update is being delivered to more regions, with the European users currently receiving it.
The Redmi Note 8 2021 stable MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.3.0 SCUEUXM and weighs about 2.6GB. It comes with the March security patch while pushing the Android OS version to Android 12. Also, there are a few improvements and new features, and depending on the device might include a widget, sidebar, and new control center.
