Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 is currently testing Android 10 and will arrive with MIUI 12. According to Alvin Tse, Xiaomi executive in Indonesia, the company will start rolling out the update in July. And from the official list of Xiaomi to receive MIUI 12 globally, Redmi Note 8 will receive the update during the second rollout, which is likely to be in July or early August.
Meanwhile, Redmi Note 8T in Europe is currently getting a new security patch update. It’s arriving with a build number – MIUI 11.0.9.0 PCXEUXM – and weighs in at 288MB. On the changelog are optimized system performance and improved system security and stability.

Aside from the changes that appeared on the changelog, other changes arrived with the update as well. According to the feedback on Mi community forum, the phone after the update;
Finished the update, the phone initially feels a bit smoother than before.
I noticed an improvement in everything.
The update is a good one – no stuttering generally feels like a nice and stable improvement. Battery usage reduced, very noticeable.
