Xiaomi continues to deploy the Enhanced version of MIUI 12.5 to address the bugs faced by its users. The company with MIUI 12 revamped the system UI. That left some bugs, which the company has dedicated the past couple of months to fixing. Fortunately, it looks like the Enhanced Version of MIUI 12.5 is the missing piece to end these issues. As expected, the Redmi Note 9 Enhanced version of MIUI 12.5 has been released in India. It’s a limited rollout at the moment to give time for Mi Pilots to preview the ROM.
The Redmi Note 9 Enhanced Version of MIUI 12.5 started globally a couple of days ago. It has now arrived in India, but as usual, it will take some days before it starts seeding for everyone. The idea is to maximize the damage should any major bug be detected on the build. However, we doubt that as there haven’t been any such reports from the global users. Hence, we anticipate the public release in the coming days.
The update is currently seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJOINXM. It comes with the anticipated features – Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. According to Xiaomi, these features supposedly improved performance and promises more life between charges. Aside from the improvements, it seems to have introduced the Virtual RAM Extension function, which converts part of the internal storage into a virtual RAM. Check for how to enable it here.

Xiaomi has extended the Enhanced version of MIUI 12.5 to Turkey and Indonesia. The update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.2.0 RJOTRXM and MIUI 12.5.3.0 RJOIDXM, respectively. As expected, it brings all features of the current MIUI build to improve performance and deliver more life between charges. The update has also bumped the Android security patch level to November 2021 to increase system security and stability. Download below.
