Xiaomi isn’t done with the Android 12 rollout, even with the current plans to start rolling stable Android 13 soon. The Chinese company still has some devices waiting for the Android 12 upgrade, which is the case with Redmi Note 9 Pro and POCO X3 NFC in some regions. As expected, the company is now rolling out a new update for the duo, and it comes with the much-anticipated upgrade.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro and POCO X3 NFC Android 12 update are exclusive to European users with the current release, while the latter has received the upgrade globally. Xiaomi is seeding the update with version numbers MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJZEUXM and MIUI 13.0.1.0 SJGEUXM, respectively. The update weighs 2.7GB and brings the anticipated features.
Arriving with the update is a stable MIUI based on Android 12, July 2022 security patch, system optimizations, and bug fixes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of issues after a cross-section Android upgrade, and hence, we recommend backing up your data before installing the current build.
Meanwhile, we understand the rollout is currently limited to a few users. We expect the public rollout to commence in the coming days, but you can download the ROMs using the links below.
