New Redmi Note 9 Pro released in Europe. Download below…
Xiaomi will be having a launch event on December 28, where it’ll debut the MIUI 13 User Interface. The upcoming MIUI build will arrive on the stable channel immediately after the event, with the current premium phones to receive the update first. The Redmi Note 9 Pro is eligible for the update, but that would come later as the company will first upgrade premium phones. And to prepare the device ahead of the planned upgrade, the Redmi Note 9 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in Europe has been released.
The current rollout is exclusive to European users as Xiaomi starts upgrading the units in that region to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. It’s seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.6.0 RJZEUXM – and weighs 804MB. As anticipated, the update brings the features of the current MIUI build, which has improved performance and stability. The update promises more life between charges while bumping the Android security patch level to increase system security and stability.
Interestingly, the memory Extension function is part of the package. It’s a feature that converts part of the internal storage into virtual RAM. Depending on your device’s memory configuration, you can get up to 3GB. Aside from these additions, the Redmi Note 9 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in Europe has fortified the device ahead of the planned MIUI 13 upgrade.
Meanwhile, it’s unclear whether the device will receive the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update, but we hope to find out after the official unveiling. That said, you should keep an eye on our page for the latest information about the Redmi Note 9 Pro Android 12 update.
