We’re only a few hours away from the official launch of the Redmi Note 9 series, scheduled to take place in India tomorrow, 12 March 2020. A live image of the Redmi Note 9 Pro retail box has appeared online in magnificent red color design. It’s the first real-life image of the phone, which to an extent, contradicts Ishan Agarwal leaks.
The renowned leakster predicted the device to come in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black. However, the Red Color variant might be a limited edition, which the company will introduce later or will be made available to some selected regions. But then, the image confirms the camera arrangement, which is a centered square bump.
It’s been seven months since Redmi announced the Redmi Note 8 series, and in a few hours, they’ll introduce the predecessor – Redmi Note 9 series. The Redmi Note smartphone line is popular globally because of their fair pricing and decent features. And tomorrow, we will find out the pricing and features of the Redmi Note 9 series.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 9 and the Pro variant were seen on Geekbench listing yesterday. It confirms the early rumors of the latter running SD 720 while the former will rock Helio G70 SoC. Both phones have a 6GB RAM, and it seems the only difference between them, for now, is just the processor. From the scores, it looks like the SD 720G is faster than the G90T inside the Note 8 Pro, while both are faster than the G70.
And while we’re still waiting for tomorrow to learn more about the device, a YouTuber, has revealed some key features of the Note 9 series. From the pictures seen on the video, the Pro variant features a 6.64-inch display with a punch-hole for the selfie camera. The fingerprint isn’t under the display but on the frame.
According to him, the module at the back is a primary 20MP snapper with 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. But the details are not convincing because Redmi had employed a high-resolution camera for the Redmi Note 7 and Note 8 series. Nevertheless, we wait for the official launch tomorrow to learn more about the specs.
