Xiaomi, for months, has been rolling out the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 to eligible users. It started with premium phones in China before making it to global models in the first phase. And while only the second phase of the Chinese rollout has been announced, international models are also getting the update. It started with the Redmi 9T, and according to a recent report, the Redmi Note 9T 5G Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 has been released.
As usual, the update is available for limited users. They’ll preview the build for bugs before the public rollout commences. That’ll probably last for a couple of days, and if there are no bugs, you will get a stable MIUI 12.5.5.0 RJEMIXM in the coming days. The update will introduce the anticipated features, which include Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. These features have supposedly improved performance and promised more life between charges.
Aside from introducing new features, the Redmi Note 9T 5G Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 has bumped the Android security patch to September 2021. That has increased system security and stability while multiple bugs have been addressed.
There’s a new fingerprint option, and it seems the update has introduced the Virtual RAM function. You can how to enable the feature via the link here. Again, the update is a limited rollout, but you can download the ROM via the links below.
