Redmi Note 9T specs
The device build consists of plastic and glass. The former is used to design the back, while Gorilla Glass 5 comes in the front panel. It has a water repellent coating, which means a splash isn’t a threat to the build. At the back is a circular camera island, which houses the triple camera sensors and the LED-flash. The 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, speaker grills sit on the button frame while the sim-tray, volume rocker, and power button maintain their usual position.
The device is available in four vibrant colors of Carbon Gray, Twilight Blue, Sunrise Orange, and Ocean Green.

Compared to that of Redmi Note 8T, there has been an improvement. The Note 9T implements a 90Hz refresh rate, which beats the standard 60Hz on the former. It also uses a Gorilla Glass 5 for protection while featuring water repellent coating. And with the Full HD+ resolution, the 6.53-inch display will deliver seamless details during gaming and video streaming.

Powering the device is Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC. It’s a 7nm processor with 5G support and has its two power cores clocked at 2.4GHz. The six efficient cores are clocked at 2.0GHz and use Mali-G57 MC3 GPU. You’d get decent performance with the device, but if you are a heavy gamer, the 6GB + 128GB storage option would be best for you. Outside-of-the-box, the device runs MIUI 12 on top of Android 10 but will soon get the Android 11 update.
Redmi Note 9T Camera
Although the device can take decent shots, you’d be a better photographer with the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G or Mi 10i. Both feature a primary 108MP sensor and a quad arrangement, while the Redmi Note 9T has triple camera sensors. The primary shooter is 48MP and is accompanied by 2MP depth and 2MP Macro shooters, while the front camera features a 13MP snapper.

The battery capacity is 5000mAh and supports 18W fast charging, but you get a 22.5W adapter inside the box. As for the fingerprint scanner, it’s integrated into the power button and would unlock your device in a fraction of seconds.
