Xiaomi is currently rolling out a stable update to the Redmi Note 9T. The device is a rebadged Redmi Note 9 5G that was first debuted in China before making it to the global market. Both phones are eligible for the MIUI 12.5 update, while the Note 9 5G is currently in closed beta test in China for Android 11 and MIUI 12.5.
We expect to learn about the global availability on February 28. Xiaomi will introduce the new Android skin alongside the Mi 11 on that day. And while we wait, a new Redmi Note 9T stable update is live in Europe. The global users are also receiving the update and it will soon appear on your phone.
If you run the global ROM, the update will arrive on your device as MIUI 12.0.5.0 QJEMIXM, while those in Europe will receive the build with a version number – MIUI 12.0.4.0 QJEEUXM. The update is aimed at optimizing system performance, improving system security and stability. You can download the update below and all Redmi Note 9T stable updates on this page.
How to flash Redmi Note 9T stable update
First, you need to download the recovery ROM and then move it to your device’s internal memory. After, you should head to the Updater App and click on the three dots on the top left. Click choose update package and select the ROM that you downloaded. The system will verify the ROM, and once the verification is completed, the flashing will commence.
