Redmi Note 11T Pro / Pro+ Android 13 update starts rolling out
Xiaomi has now extended the Android 13 rollout to the Redmi Note series. It’s the Redmi Note 11T Pro / Pro+ that has started receiving the much-anticipated Android OS upgrade. However, only select individuals are getting the update currently for preview.
Xiaomi Android 13 update rollout had a slow start, but the company is now pushing the update to more eligible users. Until now, only the Xiaomi 12 series have received the upgrade, but that changes as the Redmi Note 11T Pro / Pro+ Android 13 is released.
The update has a version number MIUI 13.2.3.0 TLOCNXM and weighs 5.5GB. According to the changelog, it has introduced a stable MIUI based on Android 13 while pushing the Android security patch level to October 2022.
However, Xiaomi warns that some third-party apps are yet to adapt to Android 13, and hence, you should back up your device before installation. Also, you might experience overheating and glitches after upgrading to the latest Android OS.
