Redmi Pad HyperOS update is now available in India and Europe

Xiaomi has now released the Redmi Pad HyperOS update in India and Europe. The latest update is rolling out for limited users for preview, which will last few days. We expect the public and more regions to start getting the update after the beta tests.

It has been weeks since the Global Redmi Pad HyperOS update was released, and it has taken until now to release the update in India and Europe. Though it has taken weeks to start rolling out the upgrade, only Mi Pilots members are getting the update. It will take another couple of weeks before the update is available for everyone.

However, if you have an authorized Mi Beta account, you can install the update manually, though we recommend waiting for feedback before proceeding. We have seen few reports from early adopters, though they are things you can address with a factory reset. And while waiting for the upgrade, ensure you have a locked bootloader.

The Redmi Pad HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.1.0.ULYINXM in India, while European units are getting a stable OS1.0.2.0.ULYEUXM. Both builds have bumped the Android security patch level to January 2024 to increase system security and delivered all the expected features, which includes, a stable HyperOS based on Android 14.
