The Redmi Pad has a 10.61″ 2K IPS panel that refreshes at 90Hz. There’s a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM. It has a beefy 8000mAh battery and single 8MP camera sensors in both front and rear panels and is offered in Graphite Gray, Moonlight Silver, and Mint Green.
Redmi Pad software support
Xiaomi promised three years of software support for the Redmi Pad. It means the device will receive updates till late 2025. During that time, it’s expected to receive two Android OS upgrades, and that’ll see it get Android 14.
Yes, the Android OS upgrade will stop at Android 14. The reason is that it runs Android 12 based on MIUI 13 for Pad outside of the box.
How to flash Redmi Pad stable update via Recovery
First, you need to download the recovery ROM and then move it to your device’s internal memory. After, you should head to Updater App and click on the three dots on the top left. Click choose update package and select the ROM that you downloaded. The system will verify the ROM, and once the verification is completed, the flashing will commence.
