More Samsung Galaxy phones have received the latest patch in the last couple of weeks. The rollout started in the last week of April, with the S22 series phones the first to receive the update. It’s currently seeding to the Galaxy A53 to improve performance and security.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 May 2022 security patch is seeding with a firmware version A536EXXU2AVD7. It is available for models in the Philippines, and we expect the rollout to expand to more regions in the coming days.
The latest security patch has over 33 security and privacy vulnerabilities affecting the Android ecosystem (A53 inclusive). It has also improved performance and stability, while new features might be part of the package. Of course, there have been some bug fixes, and you can download the update if you’re in the Philippines.
