Samsung Galaxy S20 display issues persist

While those on the Big G’s side have been suffering from some issues in their flagship Pixel lineup, the other tech giant, Samsung, has been trying to fix some issues too on the Samsung Galaxy S20 display as many users complain.

Many Twitter users laid their complaints about a green/pink line always applying on their screen while operating their smartphone. The issue affects the Samsung Galaxy S20 display in such a way that it jeopardizes users’ experience. Meanwhile, the Korean tech giant has identified this as a hardware issue and has said it was going to attend to them.

By attending to users, we mean those users who are still under their warranty period as this is a hardware issue and needs physical attention. So if you are no longer under your warranty, then it means you might not be able to get your Samsung Galaxy S20 display fixed free of charge.

This isn’t the first time Samsung users will be affected by a problem of this sort as it was seen on older models like the Galaxy S7. Meanwhile, Samsung doesn’t see the issue as something widespread for them to go beyond repairing the phones with a warranty.

What do we know about the issues faced using the Samsung Galaxy S20 display?

A few months back, sources noticed some users complaining about the Samsung Galaxy S20 display and have gone out of their way to fix their screens with money as the phone should have elapsed the warranty period since it was released years back.

Later, it was reported that a green/pink line was seen on the Samsung Galaxy S20 display and some users suggested that it wasn’t a software issue since they had downloaded the recent update on their smartphone.

Although we can’t be sure if the device wasn’t dropped, the S20 had display problems out of the box which the brand fixed with a software update. However, we hope the Korean brand officially acknowledges this issue and would offer free repairs if it is widespread.
