Samsung Galaxy S22 FE allegedly not coming this year

According to our tipster, Mukul Sharma, the much anticipated next generation of the Galaxy Z fold, Z Fold 4 is going to debut with a new S-pen in August this year following the production of the S-pen across countries in Europe and Asia. But unlike the Samsung Galaxy Z fold 4 which we are expecting soon, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE(fan edition) might not be coming out this year just like the Note 21.

The flagship device, Samsung Galaxy S22 debuted in February this year with some cool specs among which are a 6.6 inch dynamic AMOLED 2× display with 120 Hz refresh rate as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 1 chipset. And normally the Korean brand releases the fan edition close to the last quarter of the year except the S21 FE was shifted to January after multiple delays. But in the case of the Galaxy S22 FE, it seems there’s no sign of launch as the Korean brand hasn’t commenced production.

Canceling of the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE is not unexpected

According to Dohyun Kim, there is no development software for the Galaxy S22 FE as well as any contact to the Soc to power any such device. And since there isn’t any development of any kind, the device might not debut this year or at all

In addition, the fan edition of the device wouldn’t bear many differences in terms of hardware compared to the regular model. Speaking about the pricing, the FE might have a higher price tag at launch compared to the latter. So, cancellation of the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE is quite expected. Although these are just tweaks as we are still yet to confirm its debut or official cancellation.
