Samsung Galaxy S23 pricing might have been revealed

New reports from sources say that the Korean tech giant got a 13.3 percent increase in revenue (quarter on quarter), however, the profits curve witnessed a 3.6 percent dip. This is a result of the high cost of components used for making Samsung devices. Well, the revenue and profit account of the brand has led to a proposition of the Samsung Galaxy S23 pricing.

Details of the Samsung Galaxy S23 pricing

Before delving into the Samsung Galaxy S23 pricing, it is worth noting that the significant increase in revenue is courtesy of the high-end Galaxy devices – speaking of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Z Flip 4. Even with the increase in sales of these high-end devices, the high cost of parts made the profit dip a little.

Speaking of costly components, the Samsung Galaxy S23 is taking up the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will be housing a 200MP primary camera sensor at the rear and these are sure expensive parts. These components have the potential to make the brand’s profit dip even further.

Increasing the Samsung Galaxy S23 pricing will, however, make the brand lose its competitiveness with the latest iPhone 14 series. So it could be the brand will be letting the series go on sale for the price of its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. This means that the regular Samsung Galaxy S23 will be going for $799, the S23+ for $999 and then S23 Ultra for $1199.

But sources don’t think these prices will stay on for long. Apple is planning to make the iPhone 15 series a bit premium in pricing compared to the iPhone 14. This will be the opportunity for the Korean tech giant to add up the Samsung Galaxy S23 pricing or better still, leave it that way. While Samsung has a conventional move of slashing the prices of smartphones as they get old, this might not be the same with the Samsung Galaxy S23 as this is in a bid to save the profit curve.
