Samsung Galaxy S9+ Specifications
Samsung Galaxy S9 plus Specifications was announced at MWC event 2018 in Barcelona. It was announced featuring Exynos 9810 Octa Core CPU, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. On the front panel is 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display of 1440 x 2960p resolution.
Among samsung Galaxy S9 plus specifications is 3500mAh battery, supporting wireless and fast Charge 2.0. For Security, Samsung has equipped Galaxy SS9+ with smart unlock technology which uses both the Iris and facial recognition for unlocking.
On the camera is 12MP + 12P primary and 8MP front selfie shooter, fully equipped with assorted features.
Other Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus specifications, Samsung employed high Craftsmanship with aluminum for the frame, while both front and back panel is made of glass to enable Wireless charging.
The latest Samsung flagship also certified IP68 to becomes water/dust resistance. What it means is that the phone can be immersed in 1.5m of water for 30 minutes without any form of damage.

Galaxy S9+ sports 6.2-inch 18.5:9 Super AMOLED display of 1440 x 2960 resolution. The screen occupies 84.2% of the front panel, onboard the screen is 529PPI pixel density. It also support multitouch with adequate protection using Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Some display features includes, always on display, 3D touch for the home button and HDR 10 compliant.
Processor
Samsung announced Galaxy S9+ with two different Chipset. Exynos 9810 Octa Core CPU will power the device everywhere expect for North America and China. Those region will get Snapdragon 845 powered Galaxy S9.
For the Exynos 9810 Octa Core (4×2.8 GHz Mongoose M3 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A55), it is coupled with Mali-G72 MP18 GPU and 6GB RAM.
Snapdragon 845 Octa Core (4×2.7 GHz Kryo 385 Gold & 4×1.7 GHz Kryo 385 Silver), is coupled with Adreno 630 GPU with same 6GB RAM.
Out of box, Samsung Galaxy S9 will run the latest Android OS – 8.0 Oreo.
Storage
Stocked with 64GB internal memory storage, with option for expansion using Micro SD card up to 400GB. Meanwhile Samsung is expected to launch premium version of the phone sometime in March. For now, you can do with the internal storage.
Camera
The camera received major boost with 12MP primary snapper, f/1.5 to f/2.4 flexible aperture, 26mm, 1/2.5” sensor size, 1.4µm pixel size, dual pixel PDAF, phase detection autofocus and LED-Flash. For the 12MP sub shooter, it has f/2.4, 52mm, 1/3.6”, 1um, Autofocus.
Other features includes, Geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video and 9MP image recording, touch focus, face/smile detection, automatic HDR and wide angle and 2x optical zoom.
On the front snapper is 8MP sensor, f/1.7 aperture lens, 25mm, 1/3.6” sensor size, 1.12µm pixel size, Autofocus, 1440p@30fps, dual video call and Automatic HDR.
Battery
It was same old battery system we have seen in Galaxy S8. On board the battery is 3500mAh which supports wireless (Qi/PMA) charging. It also supports quick charge 2.0 charging technology, which will deliver fully charged battery in some minutes.
Security
Galaxy S9 Plus supports Samsung pay with visa and master card certified. Thus, the phone has been equipped with intelligent security system that uses both Iris and facial unlock. Both scanners work simultaneously to deliver highly optimized Security.
