Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series Android 13 is now rolling out
The Android 13 has had an interesting timeline and with every release, unique features were introduced. That said, it’s conventional for different phone brands to combine their stock Android with Android 13 to give something sleek(speaking of the likes of OneUI 5, ColorOS 13, OxygenOS 13 and MIUI 13). Well, we have another OneUI 5 rolling out – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series Android 13 is now available.
The A53 5G has just received this sleek software but before this rollout, the S21, S20 and the flagship S22 have partaken of this software, OneUI 5. All of them received a series of beta releases before getting the stable version. The Korean tech giant has decided to roll out the Tab S8 series Android 13 even though this smartphone received Android 12L about a month ago.
Alongside the Galaxy Tab S8 series Android 13 update is the November security patch and the software bears firmware version X706BXXU2BVK4, X806BXXU2BVK4 and X906BXXU2BVK4 for the regular Tab S8, S8+ and the Ultra version respectively.
What’s new?
The OneUI 5 is integrated with a lot of features that range from UI enhancements to stock app improvements to accessibility and customisation improvements among many others. The OneUI 5 software alongside the November security patch should bring a new feel to this series.

If you’re rocking the Tab S8 series, you should check your smartphone for the Galaxy Tab S8 series Android 13 update by navigating to Settings, Software Updates, and then downloading and installing. That said, if you haven’t noticed the update, then you should be patient as it’s a gradual process and you will get a notification when it’s available.
