Xiaomi has since completed the first phase of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition deployment in China. The company has also announced the second phase of the rollout. It’s expected to start on October 8, but as usual, the rollout has been initiated. Surprisingly, it’s the Redmi Note 10 5G that’s receiving the update. It brought along a new security patch build to increase system security. That means the POCO M3 Pro 5G, a rebadged version of Redmi Note 10 5G, will also receive the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5.
When Xiaomi announced the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5, we thought the build would be exclusive to premium phones. However, with the announcement of the second phase of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, the update will be made available to mid-range and entry-level phones. And as expected, the Redmi Note 10 5G / POCO M3 Pro has started receiving the update. The build is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RKSCNXM – and comes with the below changes.
