On February 3, 2021, Xiaomi announced it’s recruiting global beta testers. This group of people, if selected, wouldn’t necessarily test the MIUI 12.5 update. The update will start seeding in a couple of weeks from now, and there isn’t any news on Global testing. Hence, they’re probably recruiting users that’ll test stable beta build before its public release. And according to the latest report, the list of selected MIUI global beta testers has been released.
A quick look at the list shows that millions of Mi fans registered to become beta testers. But, not everyone is on the list. However, a good number of those who participated in the registration were lucky to have made the list of over 10,000 selected Mi fans. And because of that, it would be hard to see if you’re selected just by scrolling down the list. You should use the search feature and search for your Mi ID used during the registration. If you could find that on the list, congratulations, you have been selected.
On the list of selected MIUI global beta tester, what’s next?
Xiaomi, during the registration, mentioned they wouldn’t send a special notice to selected users. You are to join the official Global beta tester telegram channel after your registration, which is where all information as regards the beta updates are shared. Therefore, if your Mi ID is on the list of selected global beta testers, you should head over to this link and scroll down to join the telegram group.
