The Mi A-series is among the most popular Xiaomi smartphone line, but it has been the one that has received the most buggy updates. Early this year, when Android 10 was released, a lot of bugs were reported, which were still being fixed before an update that broke the device Dual-SIM functionality was rolled out. But while the latter has since been corrected, it’s taking Xiaomi developers ages to fix all the Android 10 bugs.
A couple of days ago, the September security patch update was released for the global Mi A3, and according to users, didn’t address any of the underlying bugs. Now, the same update has started arriving in Europe, with a version number, V11.0.8.0 QFQEUXM, and weighs in at 19MB.
The September security patch update for Mi A3 in Europe is said to have improved RAM management. Before now, the device consumes much RAM. However, it looks like the current update has fixed that, at least, going by a user’s comment in the Mi community forum.
Aside from that, no other bug was fixed. Meanwhile, the UI might have become laggy after this latest build, but that’s just a single user reporting the issue, while others believe there have been no fixes for any of the reported bugs nor a new one.
But unlike other Android One updates, the September security patch update for Mi A3 in Europe didn’t break anything. Instead, it fixed the RAM management issue, bumped security patch level, and optimized system performance and stability. You should fortify your device when prompted with the new update, or follow the download link below.
