The latest security patch update only fixes a few bugs on the Mi A2
It’s obvious, Xiaomi will spend the next 11 months fixing all the bugs that were introduced by the Android 10 update that arrived a couple of months back. After the update, Mi A2 users complained of so many bugs, which the company tries to fix with subsequent updates.
Now arriving, is the September security patch update for the Mi A2. The monthly security fix has a version number, MIUI 11.0.14.0 QDIMIXM, and weighs in at 28MB. As usual, it’s aimed at bug fixes and system optimization, but while the system might have been optimized, all the reported bugs didn’t get much attention.
Going by the report on the Mi community forum, only two bugs out of over 20 bugs were fixed. A few of the bugs that got a fix include the option to use apps in split-screen.
