Google recently released the Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2 update ahead of the stable release in June. The update is now available for all eligible users, but those who decided to side-load the build have their device stuck on the Google Logo.

The latest Pixel update is a beta build, though Google says it’s suitable for general use, it is still a beta update. However, the issue doesn’t affect those who installed the update via OTA but those who side-loaded the ROM. As usual, not everyone who side-loaded the build has their device bricked.

According to a user, he flashed the Beta 2 Factory Image without issues. However, he was using the latest update platform tool v35, while most people who have their phone bricked after flashing the latest Pixel update were on v34. We can only recommend trying the v35 if you bricked your phone, otherwise, wait for Google to resolve the issue.

Google has not said anything about the problem, but you can flash Beta 1 for now. To do that, follow the steps below.

  • We believe your Pixel phone is on the Google Logo screen
  • Shut down the device by holding down the power button
  • When the device is off, hold the volume down key and then press the power button
  • When you are on bootloader, head to Recovery Mode
  • Press the power button and then volume up
  • Sideload the Beta OTA, which you can download from the source link.
