Xiaomi has been rolling out a stable Android 11 update to its flagship Mi 10 series for some time now. Yesterday, those units in Europe started receiving the stable MIUI based Android 11 update. Now, the Chinese OEM has started rolling out the stable update to the Snapdragon 765G-powered Mi 10 Lite. The update is currently hitting the global models and will extend to other regions in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the stable Android 11 update for the Mi 10 Lite is hitting eligible devices with a version number, MIUI 12.1.1.0 RJIMIXM. It will arrive over the Air, but for now, only selected users are going to receive the stable beta update, which is going to start rolling out to the public in the coming days once it’s confirmed stable enough by developers.
The update is coming along with all the features baked into Android 11 to the device, although it didn’t appear on the changelog. Of course, most of it has been integrated into MIUI 12 skin already. It also brings the October security patch and has improved system security and stability. You can check for the update via the Updater app or make use of the download link below.
Note: this Android 11 update for the Mi 10 Lite is a cross-section Android upgrade. The system will need time to adjust, and as such, you might experience some bugs. It’s recommended that you backup your data before installing the update to perform a factory reset, which fixes any bug after the upgrade.
