POCO F2 Pro is the latest device to start receiving a stable MIUI 12 based Android 11 update. We expected that, though, after the Redmi K30 Pro received the update a couple of days ago since both phones have the same development. Now, you can download the stable Android 11 update for the POCO F2 via the Updater App. However, if you are yet to receive the update, you can wait as it will arrive in the coming days, or you can as well use the download link below.
As per the changelog, the update brought optimization and some new features to the camera app. It introduced three new AI watermarks, new Vlogs templates. Also, the vlogs can now be saved as drafts while there’s an option that lets you download new Vlog templates from the cloud. You’re also getting all the Android 11 flavors, updated Android Security patch, and minor bug fixes, and system optimization.
Meanwhile, the stable Android 11 update for the POCO F2 Pro is coming with a version number, MIUI 12.2.1.0 RJKMIXM, and weighs in at 2.8GB. But only a few selected users are going to receive the update as it’s still in a stable beta phase. After the preview phase, which is expected to last a few days, the public rollout will commence, but that it’s no critical bug is found.
For those who would like to flash the ROM, we have added a link to the recovery ROM. You can flash via the updater app, and for the process, check here. If you encounter any bugs after flashing the ROM, perform a factory reset, but make sure to back up your files before.
