It’s been three weeks since Google released the stable Android 14 update to Pixel users and AOSP. Since then, Samsung has released a series of beta builds based on Android 14 with One UI 6 beta, but it looks like the stable Android 14-based One UI 6 update is about to start rolling out.
Samsung released the first Android 14-based One UI 6 beta update a couple of weeks ago, which was followed by subsequent releases to resolve reported issues. It looks like the company has successfully addressed these bugs, as it’s expected to start rolling out the stable build next week.
According to a moderator in the Samsung Members community, this week is the last week for the One UI 6 beta program. There won’t be any more beta releases going forward, meaning the stable release is near. While that seems to be the case, given that the One UI 6 beta program started weeks ago, it’s only when there’s no bug that Samsung will start rolling out the update.
Unfortunately, there’s no One UI 6 stable schedule, but we expect the Galaxy S23 series to receive the upgrade first. It could start rolling out as early as next week, and if that’s the case, it would arrive with the October 2023 security patch.
When will stable Android 14-based One UI 6 starts rolling out?
While there’s no official ETA, Samsung might start rolling out a stable One UI 6 update next week. The Korean tech company is believed to finalize all beta programs this week and will start rolling out stable build by next week. It will arrive for the Galaxy S23 series phones before making it to A-series devices.
