It seems the second phase of the stable MIUI 12 rollout has just started, with the Redmi Note 8 Pro now getting a stable MIUI 12 update. That’s not surprising, though, given the second wave of the rollout was expected to start this month. But while the update is still limited to Mi Pilots and Beta testers globally, the Chinese stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 8 Pro has started seeding.
The update has a build number, “MIUI 12.0.2.0 QGGCNXM”, and weighs in at 880MB. It’s coming along with all the features of MIUI 12, bug fixes, and new Android security patch level. As usual, it will take a few days before everyone gets the update and for the global users, it should take more or less two weeks. Also, with the beta version already out, we might see the stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 8 Pro starts arriving globally in the coming days.
Meanwhile, if you have got the Chinese ROM running on your device, you should scan for the update via System updates.
