Stable MIUI launcher released – Download Link included

Since the upgrade to Android 11, Xiaomi phones have stopped supporting third-party launchers. At least for those that want to get the full functionalities of that gesture control, they’ll have to use MIUI Alpha, MIUI Beta, or Stable launcher. Fortunately, the company has been working to include features found on top launchers out there to improve users’ experience. With that in mind, the company is rolling out a new stable MIUI launcher. Interestingly, you can install it over the Alpha of Beta MIUI launcher.

Stable MIUI launcher

Recently, the MIUI Alpha launcher introduced widget functionality and Blur on folders. Xiaomi has also continued to fix some bugs and improve user experience with subsequent updates. As expected, the new stable MIUI launcher has been released to address issues and improve performance. Unfortunately, it failed to restore the Blur on folders, but that has been enabled for MIUI Alpha launcher users.

Both stable and Alpha launcher are receiving a new update. It’s a Chinese release but works on Global models. Unfortunately, not all functions are present on global units, but hopefully, all will be enabled soon. The stable MIUI launcher is pushing V4.25.1.3602-09172216 while that Alpha launcher is getting upgraded to V4.25.2-3588-09241. Both updates weigh below 25MB, and you can install them via the links below.

Meanwhile, the New Alpha launcher brings support for more widget designs. For those that would wish to install on Global models, you can also customize the home screen widget. On the home screen, long-press on an empty space, and you will see “widgets” below the screen. Click on it to customize the home screen. (Check the image above)
