The Apple iPhone 15 is around the corner and of course, leaks will surface online as usual. This time, it’s the Apple iPhone 15 battery capacity.
Details of the Apple iPhone 15 battery capacity
According to a Foxconn employee who spoke to the Chinese website IT Home, the precise battery sizes for all four new models are revealed. It appears that the vanilla iPhone 15 model will benefit the most, with a roughly 18% bigger battery, while the Pro Max will benefit from a 12% battery bump.
If this is correct, it might be the single most significant enhancement for the new iPhone 15 family. This boost comes on top of the new A17 chip‘s huge improvement in power efficiency. However, bear in mind that the source gives this story an 80% chance, so we recommend treating it with a grain of salt. Our issue is that Apple is said to be employing largely the same chassis for the iPhone 15 series, so we are unsure how the business can fit those larger batteries, but it is feasible.
- iPhone 15-3,877 mAh (+18% up from 3,279 mAh on 14)
- iPhone 15 Pro -3,650 mAh (+14% up from 3,200 mAh on 14 Pro)
- iPhone 15 Plus – 4,912 mAh (+14% up from 4,325 mAh on 14 Plus)
- iPhone 15 Pro Max – 4,852 mAh (+12% up from 4,323 mAh on 14 Pro Max)
So there you have it, the iPhone 15 battery capacity, more leaks will be arriving (surely) before we get to see this new Apple flagship very soon.
