The First Galaxy S23 software update is now rolling out

Samsung announced its latest flagship phone, the Galaxy S23 series, on February 1, 2023. The device is just getting to those who pre-ordered while also being made available in stores. As usual, with every new phone, there are always some bugs and glitches, and with the first Galaxy S23 software update, Samsung looks to resolve these issues and improve device performance. 

First Galaxy S23 software update

The latest and first Galaxy S23 software update is currently exclusive to devices in Europe. It comes with a software version number S91xBXXU1AWBD and weighs 567 MB. As expected, the current build is to enhance performance and resolve any issues being faced by early device users.

While those in Europe: Germany, Poland, UK are currently getting the update, we expect those in the US to start receiving the build soon. Those using the carrier-unlocked version will get the update first. 

And aside from improving performance and resolving bugs, the update has introduced the February 2022 security patch. It increases device system security and stability.

The update is currently available in Europe, with a release in the US imminent. You can check for the update on your Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra from Settings>>Software update>>Download and install.
