Xiaomi is now sending out a new update to the Mi Note 10 users. Those on the global channel are the ones receiving the update, and it should extend to other regions in the coming days. It comes with a fix for a bug that has been tormenting some users of the device for some time now.
The latest Mi Note 10 update is arriving for the Pro models as well. It’s coming with a build number, MIUI 12.0.3.0 QFDMIXM, and weighs in at 440MB. The update is a security patch fix that brings the October security patch alongside other improvements and optimization. Aside from the changes in the changelog, the update has solved the issue with the proximity sensor.
However, it seems only a few people have got the proximity sensor issue fixed. But if after installing the latest Mi Note 10 update and you still experience the issue, we recommend you try a factory reset. But before then, backup your files and move them into a separate folder in your PC (computer), so you can restore after the phone turns back on.
For those that are yet to receive the update, it’s because only a few users are receiving the update. After the preview phase, the public will start getting the update, and hopefully, it will start seeding in the next few days. However, you can follow the download link below and get the recovery and OTA files. You can then flash the ROM using the recovery method.
