Esim support for Samsung and Pixel phones is now available, courtesy of Visible, an all-digital wireless carrier owned by the very popular Verizon network. The esim is a digital sim that will allow users to activate a cellular plan from their carriers without having to use a physical sim. This should be a major improvement to tech generally.

What the firm is trying to achieve is the ability to have multiple phone numbers on the user’s Sim and use its carrier, while most carriers don’t make the esim available on all devices, Visible makes the esim support for Samsung and pixel phones. Sadly not all Samsung and Pixel phones get the feature, it’s just a few.

Visible is rolling out the support to these Samsung and Pixel phones adding to the already supported iPhones starting this week.

  • Google Pixel 5
  • Google Pixel 6
  • Google Pixel 6 Pro
  • Google 4a
  • Google Pixel 4a 5G UW
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 series
  • Samsung Galaxy S22 series

Verizon still has some activities going on by making the just debuted Pixel 6a cost $50 more on its carrier due to the added 5G mmwave connectivity. However, The Verizon prepaid service costs 40 dollars per month for unlimited minutes, data and messages in the US. If you still feel the information about the esim support for Samsung and Pixel phones doesn’t sit well with you, you can move to the Visible dedicated page to find out if your device is compatible with the esim support
