- Enter the code that was emailed to you to verify your account.
- After verification, you can select whether to join a bank account right now or later. To add a bank, enter your debit card number and name exactly as they appear on the card. Please keep in mind that a credit card will not be accepted.
- Select a $Cashtag, which serves as your unique identity in the Cash App and can also be used to receive payment. A $Cashtag must be at least one letter long and no more than 20 characters long.

How to Delete your Cash App Account
If you’re ready to delete your Cash App account, there are some things you should know. You must first delete your account from Cash App before you can delete the app; otherwise, you will still have an account with Cash App. This is what you must do:
- Open the Cash App on your phone or tablet.
- Go to the Account menu button.
- Tap Support from the menu.
- Scroll down to Something Else and tap it.
- Select Account Settings
- Close the account by pressing the Close button.
- When prompted, tap Confirm; you’ll need to send the last four numbers of your linked card to the support team for this.
- Thereafter, your account will now be deactivated and you will receive confirmation through email or SMS. After that, you can now delete the app from your device as soon as you get it.
