Xiaomi debuts the Mi 10T and 10T pro with Snapdragon 865 SoC starting at €499

Xiaomi has finally announced the Mi 10T series. The highlight of the launch should be the display with a 144Hz refresh rate, first for any Xiaomi phone. Like the recently announced POCO X3 NFC, the panel features an adaptive refresh rate, which depending on the content, adjusts to as low as 30Hz.

Both Mi 10T and 10T pro measure 6.67-inches diagonally, with a 1080p resolution. It’s an LCD panel and boasts of a 650nits peak brightness and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5; front and back. This time, the fingerprint scanner is side-mounted, and that should make it easy unlocking the Mi 10T and 10T Pro.

The duo draws power from a beefy 5000mah battery, which supports 33W fast charging. According to Xiaomi, the charger will juice up the phone in an hour while outside-of-the-box, it’s Android 10 based on MIUI 12. Under the hood is Snapdragon 865 paired with up to 8GB RAM. Other features of the duo include stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio certification and X-axis linear vibrator motors, dual sim-slot, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and IR Blaster.

But while the duo shares most of the specs, there are some areas they have significant differences. That is the camera, and of course, the pricing.
