It’s been over a week since Xiaomi announced its new Android operating system. While the Xiaomi 14 series phones run the OS outside of the box, the company will release it to other phones in the coming weeks. The rollout will start in China, but the Xiaomi HyperOS global rollout plans have been discovered.
Xiaomi is currently testing the new update for a handful of devices globally. Interestingly, these phones are testing HyperOS based on Android 14, meaning both updates could roll out simultaneously. That looks like it, but we expect those currently running Android 14 beta with MIUI 14 to receive a stable Android 14 with MIUI before upgrading to HyperOS.
According to Gsmchina, nine Xiaomi phones are currently testing HyperOS based on Android 14, and they will likely be the first phones to receive the upgrade. Unfortunately, there are no Redmi or POCO phones on the list, but it doesn’t mean the device won’t get the new update.
The latest list of Xiaomi HyperOS global rollout plans is probably exclusive to Xiaomi phones, with Redmi and POCO phones dominating the second list. Perhaps, Xiaomi plans to release different rollout plans for each model, but we doubt that, as most POCO and Redmi phones are reworked Xiaomi phones. Once the update starts rolling out, we expect all models to get it.
Xiaomi HyperOS global rollout plan
- Xiaomi 13
- Xiaomi 13 Pro
- Xiaomi 13 Ultra
- Xiaomi 13T
- Xiaomi 13T Pro
- Xiaomi 12T Pro
- Xiaomi 12T

Meanwhile, the update is being tested internally by these phones, meaning the public build isn’t ready. They’ll receive the update before other devices, as Xiaomi has prioritized them. Hopefully, we will see the rollout start this year, though the official schedule says Q1, 2024.
