It seems Xiaomi has started that second phase of Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 deployment. Although the company is yet to make an official announcement for the global models, it has already rolled out the build to the Redmi 9T. And according to reports, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 has been released to global users. However, is a limited rollout to allow time for Mi Pilots to review the build before it starts seeding to the public.
Xiaomi plans to improve the performance of its phones and also provide more life between charges. They’ve been able to achieve that by introducing some features. It includes Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. Aside from making these changes, the build has bumped the Android security patch level to September 2021 to increase system security and stability. The update addressed multiple bugs and optimized performance.
Interestingly, the update introduced a function to allow users blur the previews of some apps in Recents. It has supposedly enabled the Memory Extension feature, but you need to activate the function under settings. Learn how to enable virtual RAM function via this link.
