With Xiaomi already making preparations for the upcoming Android OS (Android 13), it makes sense that they finalize the current upgrade to Android 12. Perhaps, the reason why eligible devices have been picking up the upgrade with stable MIUI 13 build in the past few days. We expect the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite stable MIUI 13 release after the Mi 10 Lite Zoom received the update in China. And going by reports, the update has started seeding for the global users but is subject to beta preview.
The Mi 10 Lite stable MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SJIMIXM and weighs about 3.1GB. From the build number, it has pushed the Android version to Android 12, while the security patch level is on March 2022. Supposedly, that has increased the system security and stability of the system. So far, MIUI 13 has been getting positive feedback, with few bugs being reported compared to the previous MIUI rollouts. Hence, we recommend installing the update when prompted, but backup your files before proceeding.
Aside from the system changes, there are new additions – new wallpapers, widgets, sidebar, and revamped control center. However, the new control is limited to select Chinese users, but you can enable it via this link after upgrading to Android 12 with a stable MIUI 13 update. Also, apps can be opened as floating windows from the sidebar, and there has been enhanced accessibility support for Phone, Clock, and Weather apps. Mind map nodes are more convenient and intuitive now.
