The Xiaomi 2020 flagship – Mi 10 is now official with the lastest SD 865 SoC and Quad-camera arrangement. It’s a huge upgrade from the predecessor- Xiaomi MI 9 and promises light-speed internet connectivity. The device arrived with a Pro variant, which Xiaomi equipped with a better camera features – hardware and software.
Xiaomi MI 10 sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with HDR 10+ and DCI-P3. The screen supports the 90Hz refresh rate and 180hz toqquch sample rate. It can reach up to 1200nit brightness and is capable of 4096 levels of brightness and DC dimming. There’s a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for maximum protection against mild fall, and again, the device lacks a water resistance feature. Underneath the screen is an optical in-display fingerprint scanner with quick response time.
The Snapdragon 865 SoC that powers the Xiaomi Mi 10 is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. Coupled with the Adreno 650 GPU, the device will deliver computer-like visual and high-level multitasking.
Like the Xiaomi Mi Note 10, the Mi 10 features the 108MP camera with an 8P lens. It’s accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP telephoto lens, and 2MP depth sensor. The front 20MP selfie snapper is fitted inside a punch hole and is the first for the Mi-series. Meanwhile, the rear camera can shoot 8K videos.
Power will be drawn from a big 4780mAh battery. It supports 30W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging for charging your wearables. The device is 5G enabled and also supports SA and NSA and Wi-Fi 6. Outside the box, the Xiaomi Mi 10 runs Android 10 on top MIUI 11.
Xiaomi MI 10 pricing and availability
The phone will be available in China from tomorrow. It will be offered in Peach, Green, and Black colors starting from $572 for the 8GB/128GB variant. The more premium 8GB/256GB option will sell for $615, while the 12GB/256GB will set you back $673.
