A couple of days back, Xiaomi announced the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition. The update has started seeding, and it is expected to arrive on twelve models in the first batch. Surprisingly, the Redmi K30S / Mi 10T has started pushing the update, and according to a recent report, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition is now available in China. As usual, it’s a limited rollout to allow time for preview. That should take a couple of days, and we expect the global rollout in the coming days.
Xiaomi did surprise everyone with the introduction of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition. According to the company, the new version of MIUI 12.5 didn’t bring any new features, rather focuses on optimization to reduce power consumption. And looking at the changelog of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition, that’s what the update brings.
With the new update, Xiaomi has improved the performance of the Mi 10 Pro by introducing some memory optimization. The company added what’s called Liquid Storage, Atomic Memory, Focus Calculation, and Intelligent Balance. Meanwhile, the update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.6.0 RJACNXM and weighs in at 722MB. As expected, it comes with the anticipated features while bumping the Android security patch level to increase system security. Unfortunately, we don’t have an ETA when the update will arrive on global models, but it should be in the next few weeks.
