Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro starts pushing MIUI 12.5 globally

Perhaps, it’s because the company only develop a single ROM for the Chinese users, while for the international version, they need a separate build for each region. That’s why it seems like the global rollout is slow, but when you consider the work that needs to be done, Xiaomi is not entirely off the track. The company is working to finalize the MIUI 12.5 rollout to focus on MIUI 13, which some of its features are already rolling out to beta tester testers. And because of that, the company has now released the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro MIUI 12.5 update globally.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro MIUI 12.5 update is bringing improvement to the device to improve the performance. It has reduced power consumption and background memory usage by up to 25% and has improved gesture response time. Also, with 20x more rendering power, there are now few limits to what you can view with your screen. The system has been improved and is now faster, smoother, and lighter.
With MIUI 12.5, Xiaomi revamped the Note app, and it is now possible to uninstall some system apps. Animation has improved while the performance has improved, now smoother. However, it has been reported that after the upgrade, some people started experiencing battery drain and touch issues. But that’s Mi Note 10 users reporting that, and it might be exclusive to the device. After the upgrade, you should keep the device time to adjust.
