[Update: May 20] Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite stable MIUI 13 update brings Android 12 to Europe

The latest Xiaomi phone to start getting the stable MIUI 13 update in Europe is the Mi 10T Lite. Surprisingly, the device is now receiving the update given that the Mi 10T & Pro are still running Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5, but with the current development, we expect the duo to get the latest iteration of MIUI in the coming days. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite stable MIUI 13 update is a limited release, meaning only a few people will receive the update for now.

It’s been a couple of months since Xiaomi started deploying the stable MIUI 13 update globally, starting with the Redmi Note 10 series and Mi 11 Lite. They have since released the update to a handful of their flagship phones, which is why we are surprised with the Mi 10T Lite stable MIUI 13 update seeding before the deployment to Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro. Nevertheless, since the trio debuted same time, we expect the current rollout to reach all models in the coming days.

As for the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite stable MIUI 13 update, it’s seeding with a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SJSEUXM and weighs 3.0GB. The update is currently exclusive to European models and has bumped the Android OS to Android 12 while pushing the security patch level to February 2022. Supposedly, that has increased system security, and given the feedback, MIUI 13 has improved the stability of MIUI.

Aside from the system changes, the update introduced new wallpapers, widgets, sidebar and revamped the control center. However, it seems the new Control Center is limited to Chinese ROM, but you can enable it via this link. Also, Apps can be opened as floating windows directly from the sidebar while there is Enhanced accessibility support for Phone, Clock, and Weather apps. Interestingly, Mind map nodes are more convenient and intuitive now.
