Today, Xiaomi officially announced the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro in India. Unlike the POCO X3 NFC, which debuted without the Near field Communication feature in India, the Mi 10T series debuted without any omission. However, only the 8/128GB memory variant of the Pro variant will be offered in India, while the vanilla option comes in 6/128GB and 8/128GB combos.
The Mi 10T starts at INR 35,999 (6/128GB) up to INR 37,999 for the 8/128GB variant. For the Pro variant, it starts at INR 39,999. Interestingly, the company is offering an INR 2,000 money back for those willing to trade-in, INR 3,000 cashback, up to 12 months no-cost EMI, and INR 500 discount when you make use of Flipkart Super coins.
The duo will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home, Mi Studio store, and all official Xiaomi retail stores. And you can pre-order the phone from 11:59 PM IST, just in time before it takes a trip to China.
Going by the recent report, the Mi 10T series will arrive in China under the Redmi K30 series. That was expected, given what happened last year with the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro, which sold in China as Redmi K20 and K20 Pro.
According to a China Mobile post on Weibo, the Mi 10T phone will arrive in the country as Redmi K30S. Although the post has since been deleted, a handful of people were able to take a screenshot. However, it’s unclear which of the duo will arrive in the country as the picture didn’t clarify.
We won’t be surprised if both Mi 10T and 10T Pro are what will be debuting in China. But either way, we are going to see a flat 6.67-inch LCD panel device running Snapdragon 865 under the hood. There’ll be a big 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and will run MIUI 12 outside-of-the-box.
Expect the supposed Redmi K30S to start below the global asking price of about €599. We’ll also be on the lookout for additional information regarding the Redmi K30S.
