A couple of days ago, Xiaomi officially released the Mi 10T series in a virtual event, which saw three phones make their debut. The device goes by Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10T Lite, which has since been teased by Xiaomi executives in India, hinting at an imminent launch. However, he only teased the premium duo — Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro –but going by the recent Bluetooth SIG listing, all the three devices are heading to India.
Now, the official Xiaomi India twitter handle has confirmed the launch date and time of the Mi 10T series in India. Going by the tweet, the device will arrive on October 15 at noon. However, it’s still only the premium duo that is being teased but unless Xiaomi has plans of releasing the device under a different name, we hope to see the three announced in India.
Xiaomi Mi 10T series Indian launch highlights
The highlight of the event will be the 144Hz adaptive refresh rate display and the primary 108MP camera. The camera is accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide angle-lens and a 5MP macro shooter. As for the display, it’s a 6.67-inch LCD panel and has seen the fingerprint moved at the side. The battery is 5000mAh capacity and tops up at 33W, while the processor is the Snapdragon 865 SoC. It’s paired with up to 8GB RAM and non-expandable 256GB ROM.
Of course, the device will run Android 10 outside-of-the-box based on MIUI 12. The price starts at €599 for the Mi 10T Pro, while the price of Mi 10T is currently set at €499. For the Mi 10T Lite, the official price is €279, but you can purchase the phone for €250 on October 13, just before the Indian launch.
Meanwhile, the price tag of the Xiaomi Mi 10T series above is the global pricing. We might see the price drop or increase in India, but we can only know for sure which one after the October 15 event.
