It has been a seamless Android 12-based MIUI 13 deployment as there haven’t been bugs reports. For the past few years, bugs have plagued MIUI, but most of them were addressed with MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. The company plans to continue optimizing the User Interface, and they seem to be on track with the recently released MIUI 13 builds. They’ve now released the Mi 11 Lite 5G MIUI 13 update, and it comes with the current Android OS.
Xiaomi has started upgrading the Mi 11 Lite 5G units in China to the latest iteration of MIUI. The update comes with Android 12 along with features of MIUI 13. They include a new MiSans font, wallpapers, improved security features, and new widgets. Interestingly, the current update has improved apps fluency, with system apps recording 23% fewer dropped frames. Of course, a few bugs have been fixed while the Android security patch has been bumped to the latest version to increase system security and stability.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G MIUI 13 update is coming with a version number – MIUI 13.0.4.0 SKICNXM. It weighs about 4.2GB, and we recommend having your data backed up before proceeding with the introduction. And if the update hasn’t arrived on your device yet, you should give it some time as it’s the nature of OTA. It’s unclear when the global users will start getting the Stable build, but we expect the rollout to commence in the coming weeks. Xiaomi has released a subsequent Android 12-based MIUI 13 build to the Mi 11 Lite 5G in China.
