Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G
Each year, Xiaomi serves us a Lite version of its flagship device. And as expected, they’ve unveiled Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G. There’s an LTE-version of the device that runs Snapdragon 732 SoC. Running inside the 5G version is the newly released Snapdragon 780G. The performance is between the Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 865, and a starting price of $435, you’ll enjoy the premium performance for less.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G Specs
The Mi 11 Lite 5G looks essential like the Mi 11. Both phones have the same rear design and camera bump but feature a different senor. It has a glass build made of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for a sturdy build. At the side is the power button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner while the volume rocker button sits on top. There’s no headphone jack, but you get dual stereo speakers. The earpiece doubles a speaker and works with the speaker grille at the button, close to the USB-C port. Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G comes in Black, Green, and Yellow colors.

The display sports a flat 6.55-inch AMOLED display. It refreshes at 90Hz and supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The FullHD+ resolution screen features 500nits of brightness and can reach a peak brightness of 800nits. At full blast, the display outputs accurate details thanks to the HDR 10+ and 10-bit color depth. For maximum protection, the device uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 6, and with an IP53 rating, it’s certified dust and splash resistance.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G performance
The Mi 11 Lite 5G offers high-quality performance with the Snapdragon 780G under the helm. The SoC is optimized for gaming, and with Adreno 642, graphics rendering will be top-notch. It has a single prime core clocking at 2.4GHz, and coupled with the UFS 2.2 LPDDR4X RAM, multitasking with the device will be smooth. Unfortunately, it runs MIUI 12 instead of 12.5 outside-of-the-box on top of Android 11. However, with Xiaomi now rolling out the latter, it won’t be long until it gets to the device.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G camera
The Mi 11 Ultra is the most advanced Xiaomi phone yet. It features the best camera hardware, and hence, you should go for it if you prioritize the camera. You’ll still get a decent shot with the Mi 11 Lite’s primary 64MP camera flanked by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and 5MP macro shooter. The selfie shooter has a single 20MP snapper that supports face unlock. Unfortunately, the device can only shoot 4k@30fps, although the SoC supoorts shooting at 8K videos. However, with the camera features and sophisticated video modes, you’ll get a decent shot and shooting experience.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G battery and security
With all the features packed inside the Mi 11 Lite 5G comes a demand for power, which the 4250mAh battery serves the purpose. The processor is also power-efficient, meaning that the device will deliver ample power on a single charge. It supports 33W fast charge (Quick Charge 4+). For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Xiaomi has optimized the sensor and has integrated other features aside from unlocking your device.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G price starts from $435 for the base 6/128GB version. There’s an 8/128GB variant, which will be offered in Black, Green, and Yellow colors. We don’t have details of the availability, but it should go on sale in China soon.
