Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE Android 12 and MIUI 13 update released in India
A handful of Xiaomi phones have already received the Android 12-based MIUI 13 update in India. The rollout started with the Mi 11X Pro, although the POCO F3 GT got the update first as a Beta build. However, the device is currently getting a new stable update based on Android 12 with MIUI 13, while the Redmi Note 10 Pro / Max has also picked the update in the last hours. According to reports, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrade has been released, but as usual, it is a limited rollout pending the preview outcome.
Xiaomi released the stable MIUI 13 update late in India compared to Global and European releases. The deployment started after the presentation of the Redmi Note 11 series phones. Perhaps, because Indian ROM is different from the rest due to some system apps that are banned in the region. Nevertheless, the rollout has started in full swing, and it’s currently hitting Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G NE in India.
The update is hitting eligible users with a version number – MIUI 13.0.3.0 SKOINXM, and weighs 3.2GB. As expected, the update comes with features of MIUI 13, meaning there have been additions of widgets, wallpapers, sidebar, and a revamped control center. The new control center now integrates Mi Smart Hub – a way to seamlessly connect the Xiaomi ecosystem running MIUI. Also, there has been an improvement in system performance and stability, while apps now have fewer dropped frames.
