Xiaomi continues to upgrade its device to the latest Android OS with MIUI 13. The company started the deployment globally with affordable phones but slowly moved to the flagship segment. They’re now rolling out the update to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which comes as no surprise. However, it’s a limited rollout at the moment, meaning the update will be available for limited users.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, according to global MIUI 13 deployment, is supposed to have received the update by now. But for whatever reason, the company has only started seeding that update, with European variants currently getting the much-anticipated upgrade.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.5.0 SKAEUXM. It comes with the expected features, meaning there has been an addition of new widgets, wallpapers, a sidebar, and a revamped control center. Of course, the Android OS version is on Android 12 while the security patch level dates January 2022.
Meanwhile, the update is arriving in batches, with the stable beta testers receiving it currently. Hopefully, in a couple of days, it will be available for more users across the globe. However, if you opt-out of manual installation, we recommend backing up your files. Also, expect some glitches and bugs after upgrading your device to Android 12, irrespective of the method of upgrading.
