Xiaomi phones are ahead when it comes to the adoption of Android 11. In the last couple of days, the Redmi Note 8, Redmi 10X 4G, Mi 10T Lite have all received a stable Android 11 build. Now, the company is pushing the Xiaomi Mi Note 10/Pro Android 11 update in Europe. The build first arrived for the Mi CC9 Pro in China, and since the European models are now receiving the update, it won’t be long till the global variants receive the build. Meanwhile, for the EEA users, the rollout is currently limited to few users that’ll test the build for bugs. And if in the end, there is not performance- threatening bug, the public rollout will commence in the coming days.
According to the selected few that already received the update, it comes in a 2.8GB package. It has a version number- MIUI 12.1.3.0 RFDEUXM – and comes along with an updated security patch. After installing the update, your device security patch level will be pushed to February 2021 while improving the system security and stability. Of course, the Android OS will reflect the current version, which comes with some fascinating features. But since the update is a cross-section Android upgrade, we advise that you backup your data before installation.
