There might be a few phones left to upgrade to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced, but more regions are yet to get the upgrade. Xiaomi delivers a particular update to the same phone in different regions at a different schedule. That’s why most phones have received the Enhanced MIUI 12.5 while the same phone is still waiting for the update in some regions. It’s the same thing for the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 / Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update, as only the European and Indonesian models have started receiving the update.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 / Pro MIUI 12.5 Enhanced is seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.5.0 RFDEUXM – in Europe. It weighs 985MB, while those in Indonesia are getting a stable MIUI 12.5.4.0 RFDIDXM. As anticipated, the update comes with all the expected features – Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance. These features have supposedly improved performance and promise more life between charges.
Also, the current build has enabled the Memory Extension function. That feature converts part of the internal storage into a virtual RAM, and you can check it out via this link. You also get a new Android security patch level after upgrading your device while some minor bugs have been fixed.
Meanwhile, the rollout is limited to Mi Pilots for now. We expect the public release in the coming days, but you can download it with the links below if you opt for manual installation. Here, you can learn how to flash Recovery ROM on Xiaomi Android phones.
