The next generation of Xiaomi tablets, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is almost here. There have been rumours about the tablet surfacing here and there and according to those reports, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected sometime in the first half of 2023.
Its predecessor, Xiaomi Pad 5 was available in three variants, that is, the vanilla Xiaomi Pad 5, Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4. However, new strings of MIUI code shows just two codenames of the Xiaomi Pad 6, pipa and liquid – for the regular and Pro version of the smartphone. Meanwhile, there are some features of this smartphone that sources gathered. Let’s take a look.
Details of the Xiaomi Pad 6 series
First off, the vanilla version of the series will be taking up the Snapdragon 870 chipset which is the chip powering the Pro version of its predecessor – a major improvement. The chip present on the vanilla version of this smartphone also powers some tablets from other OEMs – speaking of the likes of Vivo Pad and OPPO pad.
Then the display of this smartphone is expected to be at a 120Hz refresh rate which is common currently (so not surprising). According to sources, the smartphone will be launched and China and India and a few other international regions.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will be housing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, the predecessor of the very impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Once this tablet is unveiled to the tech world, it would pass for the fastest tablet in the market in terms of performance – which makes it sugar for gamers. Oh well, there will be more leaks before its debut next year and of course, we’ll be here to keep you posted.
